Our new server host DGC has been voted service desk of the year!

This feels like a really good start with our new server host provider, especially when they won with the following motivation:“DGC has a very professional service desk that always answers quickly. The customers also appreciate the possibility to get status updates on different errands through the clients’ portal. Customers confirm that DGC provides a hosting environment with extremely low down time.” (Source IT24) Server desk of the year is at competition arranged by Service desk forum. The Mira conference for External Relations within higher education in Scandinavia

In the end of April Mira had the first conference of the year and now we also have the results of the evaluation. In general people where very happy with this conference and the “Medley” were by far the most popular so this is a concept we will try to keep!

The medley is a way to get a shorter presentation of different things happening within our clients activities that we at Mira know would be interesting for other clients to hear about. The medley this time consisted of Maria from KI who showed how they with small adjustments have created an amazing newsletter, Carolina at SU talked about their latest marketing campaign they have done including alumni relations, Johan from Mah showed how they work with new media at Mah and how he has implemented this in his alumni network, Leona at ORU showed how they now strategically work with processes in their activity and Kaja (picture) from NHH has started to offer their alumnus life long e-mail addresses and she showed us how does works. Thank you again everyone for taking the time to share all the good work you are doing – it was much appreciated of everyone who was listening!
